About Us

The Cicchino family founded Parkway Manor Health Center in 1985. It only took three months for the project to be approved by the New Jersey Department of Health Certificate of Need Program and we opened our doors to our first resident in February 1987. Over the years, Parkway Manor Health Center has consistently grown to meet the evolving needs of seniors in the community and has added several additional services. These services include a progressive in & out patient rehabilitation program, short-term subacute unit, and a renowned Alzheimer's program. While we are not part of a large national chain, we are proud to be counted among the top facilities in the state recognized for complying with rigorous national health care performance standards.

Picture Also located on the 10 acre community campus known as the Norman Village Community, is Goodlife Adult Day Care, a 125 client adult medical day care, as well as Norman Towers, providing 405 independent senior residential apartments. The Norman Village Community is focused on maintaining the independence and health of our seniors through the flexible and coordinated delivery of a wide variety of programs and services.

For over 20 years we have been at the service of our neighbors in the heart of Essex County.
